Camel Park was founded in 1988 as the first camel breeding centre in Tenerife. We started with 15 camels on a small banana plantation in Guaza, a quiet corner of the island, and over the years we have become a benchmark for Canarian culture and tradition. By 1993, we already had more than 60 animals, and since then, we have worked tirelessly to continue growing and offering a unique space on the island.
As a small family business, Camel Park has always been run with love and dedication. Our camels, horses, donkeys, goats, and other animals are more than just part of the park; they are members of our family. Every day, we make sure that their well-being is our priority, always working to improve their quality of life and, of course, the experience of all our visitors.
Since its foundation, we have focused on creating an environment where both the animals and our visitors feel comfortable. Camel Park does not only offer camel rides; we offer a space where you can interact with animals and learn from them.
Camel Park is not a zoo or a conventional park. It is a farm, a small family business that has worked honestly and diligently for years in Tenerife. We are proud to hear many of our visitors tell us how their relatives visited us years ago or how they show us photos taken at the park 20 years ago.
We continue to work with the same passion to offer a special place in Tenerife.
Thanks to visitors like you, we hope to continue offering this experience for many years to come. We continue to improve every day to offer you the best and continue our tradition.
