Here are some key recommendations to help you get the most out of your experience at Camel Park.
We are a small family farm, not a giant zoo. To get the most out of your visit, we invite you to come without stress and with good energy.
Please note that, as you will be on a farm with animals, your clothes may get slightly dirty. If you plan to ride a camel, it is best to wear trousers or shorts for greater comfort!
To explore the farm and ride the camel safely, we recommend wearing closed, comfortable footwear (trainers or light boots). That way, you can enjoy every step without any worries.
The Canary Islands sun is wonderful, but intense. Don’t forget to bring your sunscreen to protect your skin and enjoy the day without worries. A hat or cap can also be your allies.
Here are some simple guidelines to help us take care of our camels, the farm, and all our visitors:
It is important that we all respect the space and well-being of animals. They should feel calm and safe in their environment. Please avoid any behaviour that may stress or upset them.
To access the camels, you need to have your camel park wristband. Stop by reception to pick it up before entering, even if you already have a reservation. Exchange it there for your access wristband!
We will give you fruit for the farm animals, but be careful, camels cannot eat it! Too much fruit is bad for them. They have their own diet to keep them healthy and strong.
Never approach them without supervision from our team! Remember that these are animals weighing over 600 kg. If you want to get closer, please notify our staff.
Camels will be assigned according to your group and availability at the time. The camel driver will decide whether the ride is individual or double, always seeking the best for your experience and that of our animals.
Mounting and dismounting from the camel is easy if done correctly. It is essential that the staff hold the saddle firmly when mounting/dismounting. If there are two of you, it is important to sit down and get up at the same time.
